Kubo: A Samurai Quest is a Bejeweled styled puzzle game where you'll face off against tons of different challenges. The adventure, following the wake left by the acclaimed films allows you to control Kubo and his friends as you follow his footsteps along some of the most fun scenes from the movie.
Game play in Kubo: A Samurai Quest is common to this kind of games: you'll have to move your colored pieces around a game board in order to create groups of three or more pieces of the same color and then try to get them to disappear. Now, depending on the type and the level that you're playing at, you'll have to follow along with different rules. On some levels, you'll have a limited number of moves, while on other levels, you'll have time and in yet other levels you'll have to battle against an enemy.
In levels where you're facing off against an opponent, you'll need to take turns in order to make a move on the board. And, you'll also need to be careful to keep an eye out for danger, because if you don't, your enemy will finish off your Origami warrior. Luckily, you'll be able to link up hearts in order to cure your ally.
Kubo: A Samurai Quest is a fun puzzle game that's varied and interesting. It also offers extreme graphics and visuals and outstanding scenery. Overall, an excellent title that's a fine companion to the movie.
